Community Rules

Aestie is a place for honest conversation. You can disagree, criticize results, and share negative experiences — just keep it constructive and focused on the experience, not the person.

1. Be respectful

No harassment, bullying, threats, intimidation, personal attacks, or targeted abuse. Don’t insult or demean someone because of their appearance, choices, identity, or experience.

2. Criticism is allowed. Cruelty isn’t.

You can dislike a result, question a procedure, or disagree with someone’s opinion. Explain why without attacking the person.

Constructive: “I think the bridge looks slightly over-reduced in the side profile.”

Not constructive: “This looks horrible. Why would you do this to yourself?”

3. No appearance shaming

Don’t mock someone’s body, face, age, weight, features, or appearance — before or after a procedure. Comments should be relevant to the treatment or result being discussed.

4. Don’t pile on

Don’t encourage other people to attack, ridicule, contact, or harass another user, contributor, clinic, or provider.

5. Respect privacy

Don’t share someone else’s personal or identifying information. Don’t try to uncover the identity of an anonymous or pseudonymous contributor.

6. Keep it genuine and relevant

No spam, impersonation, fake experiences, promotional comments, or deliberately disruptive behavior. Keep discussion relevant to the experience being shared.

7. Debate the experience, not the person

Different people can have very different opinions about aesthetic procedures and results. Ask questions, challenge claims, and share your perspective without turning disagreement into a personal fight.

Comments that violate these rules may be removed. Repeated or serious violations may result in commenting restrictions or account removal.
